Designer's Touch
Floorings' Policy
on Warranty Issues
This policy applies to internet customers that
do not live within 20 miles of the Vero Beach, FL area.
If you were located in our area, we could go out and
inspect your flooring for you. Since you are purchasing the product over
the internet and most likely live in a different area of the country,
we cannot go out to inspect your floor.
Each specific brand of wood flooring has its own special
warranty policies. These policies are specifically offered by the manufacturer.
Should you
feel you have a manufacturer’s warranty issue with your wood floor
you must contact the nearest Certified Wood Flooring Inspector to inspect
your floor. Once the inspection has been completed, please have the Certified
Wood Flooring Inspector fax Designer's Touch Flooring the final inspection
results and mail an original copy as well. Designer's Touch Flooring
will submit the
results of the inspection and file the appropriate claim. As a
customer, you are liable to pay the Certified Wood Flooring Inspector
his fee.
Should the manufacturer agree that it is a manufacturer’s
defect you will be reimbursed the fee you paid to the inspector. We advise
you to read the specific warranty of the product that you purchased thoroughly
prior to hiring the Certified Wood Flooring Inspector.
It is always the manufacturer that offers the warranty
for their product. Designer's Touch Flooring does not offer the warranty.
It is up to the manufacturer to decide if your claim is valid, Designer's
Touch Flooring has no responsibility for manufacturers defects. Most
manufacturers are really great about honoring their warranties - but
you must read and follow the manufacturers waranty, installation and
maintenance specifications in order for that warranty to be valid. Before
purchasing your flooring - read the warranty, installation and maintenance
instructions.
