NATURAL BEAUTY MEANS NATURAL VARIATIONS
The patterns and color variations created in a living
tree are like all of nature – never repeated. Naturally
occurring wood characteristics such as mineral streaks,
knots, and variations in grain and color, are not considered
defects. Also, all hardwood flooring will undergo color
changes over time and with exposure to light. As a result
of these natural characteristics, your newly installed
Somerset floor will vary from samples or pictures shown.
The Color of Your Floor is Subject to Change, Here’s
Why:
Just as your own skin darkens and becomes “tan” with
exposure to sunlight and Ultraviolet light, all wood,
especially many exotic species, will undergo natural
color changes due to the effects of exposure to sunlight
and/or Ultraviolet light and age. Expect your new floor
color to deepen and become richer over time. Area rugs,
furniture, and any other item on the floor that blocks
light should be moved from time to time.
