Square NoseSquare nose moldings are generally used in conjunction with floating hardwood floors. They are ideal for concealing the expansion space when the floor runs up to a vertical object that cannot be framed by wall base or quarter round. Reducers are perfect for connecting a hardwood floor with either a vinyl or low pile carpet floor. Artistic Finishes’ reducer moldings styles are offered in 6 ˝-foot lengths. Depending on the specific installation situation, a different reducer style may be appropriate: Flush, Overlap or Bi-level. |

They are designed to catch the brunt of foot traffic abuse while maintaining the overall beauty of each stair.
