Receiving
Your Order
• Confirm that you are receiving the correct product and quantities.
If any product is missing, it MUST be notated on the delivery
receipt.
•
Inspect all boxes and packages for damages. Look for characteristics
like dents, gouges, rounded corners, opened boxes, broken containers,
and etc. Any such damage must be clearly notated on the delivery
receipt and signed by BOTH you and the delivery driver.
•
Not all orders will have visible proof of damage. In the event
that you receive your order and later notice damage that was concealed,
you must contact Designer's Touch Flooring within 48 hours and
advise us accordingly. So, please be sure to open and inspect
your product immediately.
Damages / Missing items
In the event that an item has been damaged in shipment or
items are missing from your order, it must be noted on the delivery
receipt, if this is done there will not be any difficulties having
the items replaced. If items are damaged, and the damage is clearly
noted on the delivery receipt by you and the driver we can ship
you new product to replace it immediately. If Items are
lost, carriers do require that you wait 7 business days before
filing a claim in order to give them time to try to locate the
lost merchandise. After 7 days we can then send you
the replacement for the lost merchandise. If
you need the merchandise sooner and do not want to wait the 7
days please contact your Designer's Touch Flooring representative
to see what can be done.
Delivery
All
shipping times quoted by customer service representatives are
estimated delivery times given by freight carries.
Please keep in mind that these times are not always correct.
It is an estimated delivery time only. There is always
a possibility that freight can be delayed. You could receive
the freight earlier, you might receive it later.
The freight companies we use are usually dependable, but of
course mistakes, loss of freight or delays are always possible.
After the freight leaves the distributor warehouse it in in
the hands of the freight carrier. It is always possible that
some items are not shipped with your freight, because there
was a back order that we were not made aware of when placing
the order. We try to ship everything at once, but some delays
do sometimes happen. If this happens will will ship it UPS ground
when the backorder arrives. We do not pay for expedited shipping
charges. We always recommend to customers to make sure they
receive their product before scheduling installation of their
flooring.
Freight
carriers do offer guaranteed delivery service but the freight
charge is more. If you are interested in guaranteed service, please
ask your sales representative about it.
