HARTCO-MAINTENANCE

For proper care, always follow directions on each
product label.

Initial Care:
-
Sweep, vacuum
or dust mop.
-
Mist the area
to be cleaned with Hartco Easy Clean and wipe
with the Hartco Sh-mop.

For Pattern-Plus
and Pattern-Plus 5000 floors without the Permion
finish, apply Hartco Pattern-Plus Shine.
Routine
Care:
-
Sweep, vacuum
or dust mop as needed.

Wipe up spills
with Hartco Easy Clean. For large areas, mist
Easy Clean and wipe with the Hartco Sh-mop.

For Pattern-Plus
and Pattern Plus 5000 floors without the Permion
finish, apply Pattern-Plus Shine as needed (2-4
times per year).

Hartco Easy Clean:
-
Specially formulated
to clean virtually all Hartco floors.

Easily cleans dirt,
food spots and other soiled areas.

Available in a
large 32-ounce size.

Available with
the Hartco Sh-mop in one convenient Floor Care Kit. For
proper care, always follow directions on each product
label.

Mats at all entrances
help keep dirt and moisture from being tracked in.
-
Area rugs are recommended
in front of kitchen sinks. Do not use rugs with solid
rubber or vinyl backings.

Never damp mop
with water. It may permanently damage the floor.
-
Do not walk on
your Hartco floor with worn out stiletto or spike heels.
-
Do not roll or
slide heavy objects directly upon the floor.
-
Pet claws may scratch
hardwood floors.
-
Maintain proper
climate controls. A temperature of 70° F (21° C)and relative
humidity of 35% to 50% are ideal.
Use Hartco floor protectors on the feet of furniture to avoid
scratches.

STAIN REMOVAL
Water Spots :
- Remove with a soft cloth dampened with Hartco Easy
Clean or white vinegar.
Food Spills:
- Clean promptly with Hartco Easy Clean.
Rubber Heel Marks, Crayon, Gum or Asphalt Deposits:
- Dampen a clean cloth with Hartco Wipe Clean and
rub to remove.
Scratches:
Use Hartco's Touch-up Kit on PearlWhite parquet, Plank and Strip floors.
For light scratches or color loss on Hartco Acrylic Impregnated floors
without Permion finish, apply Hartco Spray Tone. To repair deep scratches
on Hartco Acrylic Impregnated floors without Permion finish, lightly abrade
with 00 steel wool or 400 grit sandpaper; then apply Hartco Spray Tone.
Repairs may also be made by replacing individual slats or units.
