Maintenance
Columbia Flooring is virtually maintenance-free. Routine cleaning requires
you only to vacuum, use a dust mop, or a damp (not wet) mop, and dry with a
clean, white, cotton cloth. The only product that you will need to use to clean
your floor on a regular basis is Columbia Flooring Cleaner.
Helpful Hints
- Regularly damp mop or vacuum to remove sand and dirt, as they may scratch
your floor.
- Avoid saturating the floor with water.
- Use felt protectors under heavy pieces of furniture.
- Use caution when moving large appliances such as refrigerators and
ranges.
- Place mats at exterior doorways.
Important Preventative Maintenance Steps
- Do not use soap-based detergents, oil soaps, or one-step clean-and-shine
type products.
- Do not use steel wool, abrasive cleaners, or scouring powder, as they
will scratch your floor.
- Never wax or polish your Columbia Flooring laminate floor.
